Bagpipes @ Church Services / Mass

Incorporating Bagpipes At A Church Service/Mass

There are moments in our lives that we will remember forever. There are certain instruments and performances that move us. The sound of an experienced piper playing the bagpipes to open & close a service for your loved one will be one of those moments that you hang onto. Wheaton likes to call this “book ends” which in some ways resembles the “ringing of a bell” that indicates the opening and closing of an important event. When played inside of a big church, the sound echos and feels majestical. Wheaton’s favorite way to play in a church is to play a song for the opening and lead the family out with Amazing Grace to close. There are a variety of different ways to play during a church service and Wheaton has experienced many different methods. Feel free to reach out to him with your ideas, questions, or recommendations.
